Got a weird question for you

When you sell your house are you suppose to go around and drywall all the little nail holes where you hung pictures? Someone told me that you're suppose to do that but I never knew that. :donno: None of the houses that we've ever bought have had the picture holes plugged and repainted over either.

I have never done that except when leaving a rental...... I wouldn't do it if I sold a home.....

I think we did only because we took all of our picture off the walls before the sign went up. The realitor said it's so the potential buyers see their stuff instead; easier to imagine living there.

Jen, when we go to sell this place I am thinking of taking down the little amount of stuff I have hung up and then I would fill the holes and make it look new. But not after I sold the house.... I am thinking it is all the new owners holes and all :roflmao2:

Oh I forgot you already sold your house. Hmmm....If they didn't ask you to do so in the contract, than don't.

My mom just sold her house and we didn't do that...we just left them. We clean clean clean clean though!:thud:

We have before, but my DH is obsessive about things like that. I think spackle is the term.
When we moved here, they left the nails in and all. Remember this was my bosses house. (supt. of schools) Dh actually liked it because he just started hanging stuff up as it arrived and then we kept switching it around until we found the right spot for it.

Well I think I'm just going to leave all those holes in the walls with the nails still in them then if everyone else does. :yep: I never thought it might just be easier for them to just come in and hang stuff.
