I came home today and 2 plants are drooooopy. :cryhard: Does Home Depot have something I can use to cover the plants during the heat of the day? Or do I need to make a shade with screen and posts? I can't plant these plants in a pot because of Dusty, otherwise I would do that and keep them on the porch.

Jen,

I have thought about the same thing.... knowing soon my plants will need some sort of shade. I plan on using solar screen material and making some sort of make shift cover.maybe some wood sticks staple gun and the screening?

Let me know what you come up with, I will be doing something at the end of this month or beging of next month.

I tried to do a search but all that I got was gazebos. That isn't gonna work.
I'm going to HD tongith so I will let you know what I came up with. I like using a staple gun. heeheeee

Jen, are you in Arizona? I can't remember. This forum might be able to help you:

Oh and I did a search and came up with this:
"Not sure about the bedsheets, but Home Depot carries shade cloth in a light color that I'm sure would do the job. It's permeable, so if you're lucky enough to get rain, it won't collapse on your plants - as a sheet would."

Hey thanks plath. DS and I created something with wood, nails and garden screen. For our 1st green house it's not bad.
