Do you have any to share?

Here's a few I just took:

My peony
We got 3 blooms this year! We should have tons more next year. The previous owner's stunted the plants by dividing them and disturbing the roots really badly.

Veggies:
red bell peppers, green bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapeno, bush cucumber, regular cucumber, 2 types of heirloom tomatoes, bush tomato, zucchini, another unknown squash (it was missing the tag and dh made me buy them), eggplant

I don't have a traditional garden but my husband does have a rose garden and I have some pots of petunias.

I snapped this one after it finished raining last night.

My petunias.

This one isn't such a good shot but it smells lovely.

Here's the last one... it doesn't look like anything special yet, but it'll soon turn into a pretty orange tiger lilly.

Cardy I love the last pic. It offers mystery. You can tell that the flower is at the in between point.

Oooooh...great pics. Plath, I'm glad you got that house in the country. You and your DH seem to really love it there.

Cardy, your camera is awsome! Do you take photo classes?

Quite a few years ago I took some photography classes at a skill center just for the fun of it so I learned quite a bit there. One thing they didn't teach me about though was digital cameras because they barely existed back then. :roflmao2: I did pick up one digital camera tip from a person at Fotki though... you can do macro (close ups) shots with almost any type of digital camera regardless if your camera takes good close ups or not. All you need is a magnifying lens. Hold the magnifying lens on the end of your camera lens while snapping pictures. Some people tape the magnifying lenses onto their cameras but you risk damaging your camera lens if you do it that way. You also need to control the amount of light coming from your flash. My camera has a feature where I can shut my flash off but if yours doesn't just put some black electrical tape across it or tape a piece of cardboard over it.

If any of you want to try some macros I'd love to see how your pictures turn out.

 Thanks for the tips! I HATE that I can't turn the flash off on mine.

I can turn off the flash on mine and have taken a few with the macro. the trick with mine is that you have to hold it really still with the flash off or it will be blurry. I'll try and mess with some and see how they come out. Good tips Cardy, thanks.
