We're trying to determine what color we should paint the dining room. Right now it's a dark greyish green, but we don't like it because it's really dark. We also need to paint the guest bedroom. What colors are your rooms?

We have:
Kitchen: red
Master bedroom: light grey-green
Living room: tan
study: chocolate brown
bathroom: white
entry way: bright green (the color is a running joke everytime someone comes over)
hallway: white

Those of you who have color on your walls, do you paint all 4 walls that color or do you leave one white?

I hate white, but I love related shades of a color. Our kitchen, dining room, and living room is Benjamin Moore Arizona Dust. The "open to all these rooms" family room is B Moore Peanut Shell. The shadows play off these colors and it seems they are always changing.

I have a pale icy green in my study. A warm pale blue in guest room. Bathrooms are Arizona Dust too.

I like bold color with white trim. It seems like you can use almost any color in any shade if you trim in white.

A professional painter owned the house before us and I liked the colors so much that I decided to leave all of them alone except for the upstairs bathroom. The majority of the house is either off white or a really toned down mauve-ish color. The bathroom upstairs is purple. Oh I just forgot, we did redo the girls bedrooms last year, DD#1 has purple, and DD#2 has white but she has a painted foot stripe going around the middle of the room with camoflage colors. I kind of like neutral colors but my next house I'd like to see a little bit more color in it.

I'm much more adventurous with the kids rooms then with other rooms of the house. Erik's is different shades of green (sponge painted above a chair rail and painted in large stripes below), Cassie's is a light blue below a chair rail and pale yellow above and in Skylar's room we painted 2 of the walls a Piglet Pink and left the other two white. The other main rooms in our house are just shades of tan or white. Not too exciting, but we have lots of windows with vaulted ceilings and a couple skylights. I like the bright feel light colors give.

I have an Arts & crafts inspired home, so I've been painting the rooms colors of off Sherwin Williams Arts & Crafts pallet.

My living room is "Rembrandt Ruby" (a redish pink color)

Dining room is "studio blue green"

The little hallway between the foyer and kitchen is " Hubbard Squash" (a warm darker yellow)

I'd like to eventually paint the kitchen Hubbard Squash also. I'm still undecided what color to use in the Foyer, but will probably go with something light and neutral. We have dark oak woodwork thoughout our house(except the kitchen) and the warm, darker colors really make it stand out!

Since our house is brand new, its all antique white with bright white trim.

Only have the girls room painted. Bottom half Lilac, top half Madres (pink) and the colors are divied by a white stripe. In the stripe I am painting with I think Dill (light green) 'hope', laugh, smile, love, imagine, dream, joy, wish. And I think above the light switch I am going to paint Believe in Yourself. This way the girls see it when they are walking out of there room.
