Zippi laundry tip

I just started doing laundry now that I'm retired. DH has been doing it since zippigirl went to college in 97. Well, I kept putting the laundry on and forgot about it. It wasn't making its way into the dryer. I blame it on the chemo. I was ok after the first load because the dryer would buzz. I just couldn't get the first load into the dryer. I started using the oven timer. I set it for 30 minutes. It is very persistence and keeps buzzing till I turn it off.
Do you have any tips for me?

I always find loads in the washer that have been sitting there, washed, for a couple days. :roll: I'm almost always doing laundry, but during those lulls stuff just sits there and then I have to wash it over. :foottap:

Hubby does it here. He makes a marathon out of it... washing and drying and folding till all the laundry is done. :yep:

Actually, I use the oven timer too. It's annoying as heck.

I do laundry twice a week .. Wednesday and Sunday. If anyone wants anything washed before or after my washdays ... THEY will have to do it themself.

My DH helps me with it on Sunday.

I hadn't done laundry for years myself or dishes or a lot of stuff. I usually do mine in one day. the first load is sheets, then clothes and lastly towels and if I Forget them for too long ...and for some reason I forget the last load in the dryer oh well!

I admire you Zippi, chemo is hard to endure. :hugheart:

Well I don't really have any tips.... I forget too.... I say it is because of all my kids.... the only time I really think about the laundry is when one of my kids or DH is running around looking for something LOL LOL LOL.... I think "Hey did I change out the washer to the drier?" and the answer is normally no..... LOL
