I finally bought some things this last weekend to paint for the craft fair and started yesterday. I got one done and have umpteen things left to do. This is a empty box. I'm not sure if I'm going to put things in there or sell it as is. Now I have to figure out how to price them.

Terri that's beautiful! I got an ABC catalog today that had the 3 round boxes, lg., med., and small and they were painted, but were no where as nice as the one you've done!

You know the problem I have is that you can buy things so cheap these days. You hardly get paid for all the time you put into your crafts, KWIM? Those boxes from ABC are really pretty and I couldn't paint 3 of them and sell them for $18. It takes a lot of detail to get it the way I like it. I don't want to over price things and I don't want to under price them either. :donno: What to do, what to do.

It is really hard to make a profit doing crafts. Until you get the status of being an artist. You do such nice work Terry enjoy what you do.

I know what you mean. I make quilts, and people ask me how much they are... and when I tell them, they walk away. I just don't try to sell anything anymore; I just say, you can't afford it! :yep:

Sorry, I cleaned out my homestead yesterday and must have deleted that link...I put it back.

The same thing happened when I made those light up angel dolls for the craft show Betska and I were in. I was asking $30 for them and everyone loved them, but didn't buy any. :donno: I did sell one of them , but it was to DH's cousin. The took a long time to make and I thought were really nice. The materials alone were almost $15.00. Bit has one of them I sent her as a swappie gift.
