Yesterday I painted a picture to hang in my living room. It is almost like the one I painted for Aunt Betty cause I loved hers so much. I finished it last night and hung it this morning. You can see the tv reflection in the glass frame.

I put about 4 hours into this one through the day. Once you know how and where to put the colors they all fall into place. I just had an itch to make something...but was to lazy to get my yarn and crochet needles out from the back of the closet. So I painted instead. :yep:

Wow! I can't tell you the number of times I wish I could paint like that. Start selling those, girl! I'll make you a website. :yep:

My DH keeps saying, "You should sell those." I say they are a dime a dozen. So many people can paint and craft that not many people really want to pay for homemade stuff anymore when they can make their own. :donno: I have always loved to paint and draw and wish I had gone on to school to get better, but it just wasn't in the cards for me. I just enjoy painting and giving them as gifts.

It's beautiful Terri! I want to know where you keep getting those great looking frames!

Thanks Kathie. That gold frame I got at Kohls, you should see it in person. They always have a 50% off sale and I can get them there for around $25.00. I know that's a lot for a frame, but it really makes the canvas pop and look rich. I've also gotten a few from AC Moore, but not without a coupon. The ones from AC moore's don't have glass, they are just the canvas frames. I like both looks actually. Certain ones look great behind glass.

Beautiful, Terri! I just love your paintings!

I'm working on an afghan for our family room (red and yellow stripes), a baby quilt for the new niece, and candy wrappers for a party at work next week. It's going to rain this weekend so I hope to get a lot of those things done.
