I read the book - I wonder if the movie is anything like it.

It is a tad different from the book but not enough to annoy.
I love the book and the movie.

OMG...we rented this movie the other day and I made Dh watch it with me. I cried SO hard for the last 20 minutes of this movie! I was sobbing like a baby. :cryhard:

It is a good movie, but have some tissues handy.

I was determined not to cry, but then I saw dh trying to wipe a few tears away.....then I was :cryhard: That, however, is NOT how the book ended! :thud:

I would have told you that, but it would have ruined it for you. I guess they don't plan on making a movie of The Wedding, the sequel to The Notebook.

What? Is that book out now? I've never heard of it, although this is the first Nicholas Sparks book I've read.

Although the movie was GREAT I enjoyed the book better. Now I have to read The Wedding!

I think it was the fall 2003 when The Wedding was released. It deals with Noah's children.
I love Nicholas Sparks. He was supposed to release a sequel to A Walk to Remember this past fall, but it didn't happen. I'm anxiously waiting.
