Down East Corn Chowder--slowcooker recipe

2 16 oz cans corn (or equivalent fresh off the cob)
2 med potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 onion, chopped
salt & pepper to taste
2 c. veg. broth
2 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine
Combine all ingredients except milk and margarine. Cook on low 7-9 hours. Puree until almost smooth. Stir in milk & margarine, and cook on high 1 hr.

I used 8 med size ears of corn BUT I read the ingredients and threw it all into the crock pot before I read how to cook t!
We will see what it turns out like!
PS...these plops of onions are so great. I didn't realize how often I use onons in my recipes.
DH LOVED this stuff. I didn't tell him I messed it up!
