What is on your New Year's Eve menu?

We usually have seafood but we had it Christmas Day and leftovers the next day.

I am thinking steak sounds pretty good.

What are you having?

Whatever we have we have black eyed peas on new years day.

New Year's Eve we will be having a deep pit barbeque dinner here in the community. New Year's Day I want to cook ham and 15 bean soup so we get some black eyed peas. Haven't decided if I will cook a ham before or just get ham chunks for the soup.

We are going out to dinner then to a party.

Navy beans with ham, meatballs (the recipe with stovetop stuffing) and a big salad that I'm getting from the Nuthouse where I used to work. They make the very best green salads.

I also have some summer sausage and cheese in case DH wants a snack later, and I might make some brownies. He mentioned wanting some yesterday and since tomorrow starts the new eating plan, we might as well load up today.
