I have my sons wedding coming up in 2 months :shock: I need some ideas The wedding is antique purple and lilac and Hydrangea flowers. I will be doing all the wedding favors. HELP :yep:

When Kevin and I got married I wanted to give out something that people would keep for more then a week so we gave out mid size photo albums with a picture of us inside of it. Everyone loved that idea.

You can give out some nice photo albums and put a picture of your DS and FDIL inside of of each one then get creative with the wrapping. Wrap them in purple or lilac paper then overlay that with lace. Make a lace bow or if you can find some silk hydrangea flowers to use instead.

We gave cds of our favorite songs (and also included the first dance songs) in folded paper cases (we used lavender and pale sage green cardstock), and a purple pansy in a painted flower pot (the little sized pot, either painted lavender or sage colored) and had those surrounding a larger pot with African daisies in it. We had a more garden themed wedding though.

I made some really nice full sized wrapped hershey bars for my cousin's wedding. It had a picture of them on it, an ocean picture for the background that I had taken on vacation and a poem that the bride had written herself to everyone thanking them for coming to the wedding. I also used the clear plastic covers for them. They looked really expensive and people got to save the poem - picture.

You could make one with their picture on it and have the purple background and the flowers draping all over...how pretty!

Something fun and unique you could do for wedding favors, is seed packets.
You can find some seed packets of pretty purple flowers and attach a sweet poem, and purple ribbon to it!

Something for the environment and something unique! Thats what I'm going to do at my reception when I get married!

So far I have the bookmarks made and the cutest little matchbook thing that says Mint to be on the front and on the inside is a mint. I am doing the flower seeds with a poem. Then I will do the candy bars and in between all that we have been making the boutineers and corsages

That mint thing sounds cute. I made matchbook mints for Nicole's graduation gift bags. They are easy to make too.
