Windows - Has your taskbar mysteriously moved to the top or side of your screen. Simply grab (hold down your mouse button) any non-button part of the taskbar and drag (move the mouse while holding down the left mouse button) it back to the bottom where it belongs. Stay, taskbar, stay!
Internet Explorer - Having trouble reading certain web pages. If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and give that wheel a spin. You can easily increase or decrease the font size of any web page to suit your preference.
Word - From the "I wish I had that in high school" department: While viewing any document, pull down the TOOLS menu and choose "Word Count." You can easily find out EXACTLY how much you have been typing, guaranteeing your 500 word essay is not longer than it needs to be...
Excel - Pull down the INSERT menu and choose "Comment." Now, you can document any cell on the spreadsheet. Only when you move over these "red-cornered" cells will the comment appear. Cool!
