View Full Version : Velveeta Cheese Sauce

1 T butter
1 T all-purpose flour
1 c milk
1 1/2 c cubed Velveeta
salt & pepper to taste

Melt butter in a pan. Remove from heat. Blend in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring. Return to low heat, stirring constantly until it begins to boil.
Add cubed cheese & continue to stir until cheese is melted.
Remove from heat and season with salt & pepper.

I make the same sauce and pour over macaroni...and some buttered bread crumbs and bake. I don't always use velvetta some time I use regular ole american cheese.. Depends on whats on hand. Never thought to put it on cooked veggies. Thanks

I'll bet the salsa would make a good nacho for chips! I might have to try that.

Salsa is yummy, but I just LOVE Rotel tomatoes and Velvetta!!

I usually serve this with broccoli or cauliflower.
