We aren't going anywhere or having people over, so it'll just be the two of us. I will probably make snacks for dinner, like nachos, chips and salsa, maybe cheese and crackers. We still have a bunch of Hickory Farms!

Spicy Nacho Bake
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
2 large green peppers, chopped
2 cans (28 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) hot chili beans
2 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans (11 ounces each) whole kernel corn, drained

2 envelopes taco seasoning
2 packages (13 ounces each) spicy nacho tortilla chips
4 cups (16 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
In a Dutch oven or large kettle, cook the beef, onions and green peppers over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, beans, corn, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes (mixture will be thin).
In each of two greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dishes, layer 5 cups of chips and 4-2/3 cups of meat mixture. Repeat layers. Top each with 4 cups of chips and 2 cups of cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 2 casseroles (15 servings each).

We ended up going to the Chinese buffet, then came home and DH watched the game while I puttered around the house doing random stuff.
I usually watch by myself. But, Brandon & Ryan were interested in watching so I decided to have our own little party. We made Dad watch with us.
I went to Wal-Mart an hour before the game and got what I could. (Which wasn't much an hour before the game. LOL!) I came home with less than 5 minutes to spare and threw together some snacks.
We had;
Punch (I made it with lime sherbert and ginger ale and put it in my nice big punch bowl.)
Meatballs (In KC Masterpiece barbeque sauce.)
Pig-in-the-blankets (Little Smokies wrapped in biscuits)
Tortilla chips
Salsa
&
Cheese dip (Velveeta and Picante sauce melted in the microwave and mixed together.)
Brandon (11) & Ryan (8) like to watch football, but this was their 1st Super Bowl & Super Bowl party. LOL!
