Leftover turkey slices, broccoli rice casserole, and green beans. I also made some garlic toast using the Papa John's garlic butter tubs that come in the pizza box (I always save them) ... then made a cinnamon streusel coffee cake. Since I'm not speaking to DH, I have no idea how it was. I have no appetite because I've been having to deal with a$$ho's all day, so I didn't eat.

LOL What did DH do? or don't I dare ask?
We had leftover filled cabbage. Danny and I went to the mall. I had $10 in Kohl's cash and wanted to get some hand soap for m and f-i-l for Christmas at Bath and Body. Danny got 2 hoodies that would have normally been a total of $138. but they were on clearance and I had the $10 off so we paid $17 for both of them. :glsmile: Woooo-Hooooo!!!!:bootie:

Off topic, but great deal on the hoodies.
I've never had filled cabbage, it doesn't sound very tasty though.:yep:

I made pork tenderloin with this chipotle sauce found here:
http://southernfood.about.com/od/porktenderloin/r/r70228e.htm We also had field peas, smashed red potatoes, and leftover kale from the other day. Nutcracker Sweet tea rounded everything out.

Good idea. We had Papa John's pizza last week. I should have saved the little tub. Didn't even open or use it.

Super deal on the hoodies!!!
Michelle, you are one of the few people I know who likes field peas. That's one of my favorites, along with purple hull and crowder peas, but lots of people have never heard of them.

Yep, never heard of field peas.
I love sweet tea, but what is Nutcracker Sweet Tea? We don't have sweet tea around here, except at McDonalds. I love vacationing in the South and drinking Sweet Tea.

When we (my mom, dad, brother) lived in Tennessee we had a huge garden. My dad always grew beans and if he wasn't able to grow beans he bought them from the Farmer's Market. I haven't seen a crowder pea in a long time. I forgot all about those! My favorite are purple hulls.

It's not sweet per se. It is a specialty tea sold at the commissary. I am sure it is at your grocery store. It has cinnamon and other spices. I sweeten my tea with Splenda. Nutcracker Sweet is the name of the tea. I used it all up or I'd give you the name of the manufacturer. It's in the tea aisle.
I LIVE on Sweet tea!
I used to make my own, but now I just buy it by the gallons at Wal-Mart. :yep:
{I've joined a gym to deal with my sweet tea addiction.}
DH Barbequed today ~ :bbq: ~ burgers, hot dogs and sausage. Like a typical man, he didn't make anything to go with it - all meat. LOL! {I was at the gym.}

Amy, where abouts is the sweet tea at Wal-mart? Is it refrigerated? I wonder if they carry it here? I love sweet tea. I frequently buy a 99 cent one at McDs.
It's in the refrigerated section with the orange juice and the Sunny D.
The kind I get is a Louisiana brand, but there are other kinds.

There is a brand of tea called Diamond something? I saw it at Walmart when I used to shop there, but my Kroger also has it. They have sweet, diet sweet, and unsweetened. It is very good.
Yes - Red Diamond Sweet Tea.
I used to make my own but just no time to do it anymore. (It was SO good!)
It took a while to get used to the Red Diamond - but now I am ADDICTED.
That and also the sweet tea from McAllister's Deli. :bs:

I LOVE that tea! It's made by Celestial Seasonings. It's made with black tea, vanilla and cinnamon. They only sell it around the holidays.
