Dinner menu for Tuesday, Dec. 23

Well, tonight I totally cheated. LOL!

Started with popcorn chicken -- then I made a dipping sauce from mango preserves and habanero sauce. Cut up celery sticks, and made fresh blue cheese dressing (blue cheese crumbles mixed into prepared blue cheese dressing).

That is IT. I haven't strayed from the sewing machine for more than a few minutes at a time ... long enough to put stuff in the oven, take it out, mix up sauce and dressing, serve dinner, go back for the plate, and clean up the kitchen. In other words, I've been jumping in and out of the sewing chair, looking sorta like a Katpo-in-the-Box.

I cheated too! Really bad....DiGiorno Garlic Bread Pepperoni Pizza..It was sooo good! Almost no clean up.

Let's see. We had steaks. Mine had crumbled Gorgonzola cheese sprinkled on top. Homemade mashed potatoes and corn. Just a simple dinner.

I'm with you Hockeymom. I don't usually like the whole chickens cooked and bought from the store. They always seem too salty.

I was craving subway so i got a spicy italian footlong for me and a turkey and cheese mini sub for ben. Now the hubby i actually dont know what he ate, he was out doing his chistmas shopping last night ( yep... i knew he would be last minute!!!) so i dunno if he grabbed something because whne he came home we wanted the other half of my footlong and it made me cry ( emotional much!!!????) so he ate chex mix lol.

nobody would wanna eat my sub though, it has pepperoni, salami, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, banana peppers, jalopenos and extra jalopenos, hot sauce. mmmmmmmmmm yummo!!!

I love spicy. That sounds good. If I had my choice in the world, I'd live off of sandwiches.
