Cook Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 1 pound



2/3 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons Spice Islands® Louisiana Style Cajun Seasoning
1 pound (4 cups) pecan halves

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix corn syrup, sugar and Cajun seasoning in a large bowl. Add pecans; stir gently to coat. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
Bake pecans for 18 to 20 minutes, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes. Place on a cooling rack; separate nuts with a fork.
Cool completely. Store in airtight container at room temperature.

My DH and kiddoes eat this all the time.
We have a jar of Cinnamon Nut Glaze in the cabinet to make our own. But, they were selling it already made at the craft fair we went to this weekend, so of course, they had to get some.

I have never tried this but I like toasted pecans anyways. Pecans are so expensive!

I buy my pecans at Costco. the eight cup package is less than $9. I buy a package almost every week. I make pralines all the time. Every time I go somewhere they always want my pralines.

My grandma just brought me a shopping bag full of pecans ( still in shell:yep:) their neighbor has a pecan tree or however they grow haha.

Ben loves them and so do i but i get so sick of cracking them open:yep:
