BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES EVER
• 1 C. Butter (softened)
• ¾ C. Granulated Sugar
• ¾ C. Brown Sugar (firmly packed)
• 2 Eggs
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 2 ¼ C. Flour
• 1 tsp. Baking Soda
• ¼ tsp. Salt
• 1 standard-size bag Chocolate Chips
1) Cream the butter until mixed and softened
2) Gradually add in both kinds of sugar, and mix well
3) Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well
4) Mix in dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt), and mix until blended
5) Add chocolate (and peanut butter) chips to batter, stir until evenly dispersed
6) Bake cookies at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown at edges
I thought I was making small cookies, but they turned out rather large as they expand with the heat. I made 3 dozen but the recipe could easily make 4-5 with smaller cookie drops.
