I LOVE Starbucks coffee!!!! I am trying to not go there and make coffee at home. [you], do you have a tried and true recipe that you like to make at home? I have looked all over the net, and am just not coming up with what I am thinking that I want.

Which drink did you want?

I make this one and use Eagle Brand Milk instaed of the milk and suger. And espresso powder like Medaglia D'oro instant espresso crystals.

Starbucks Frozen Frappuccino

Make double-strength coffee by measuring 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per cup (serving) in your coffee maker: The drink will be even more authentic if you use Starbucks beans and grind them yourself just before brewing.

Makes 2 "Grande" Drinks

COFFEE

3/4 cup double-strength coffee, cold
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 cup low-fat milk
2 cups ice
Make double-strength coffee by brewing with twice the coffee required by your coffee maker: That should be 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per each cup of coffee. Chill before using.
To make drink, combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until ice is crushed and drink is smooth. Pour into two 16-ounce glasses, and serve with a straw.
CARAMEL

For this version, add 3 tablespoons of caramel topping to the original recipe and prepare as described. Top each glass with whipped cream and drizzle additional caramel over the whipped cream.

MOCHA

For this version, add 3 tablespoons Hershey's chocolate syrup to the original recipe and prepare as described. Top each glass with whipped cream, if desired.

Thanks Mode! I really really like their Caramel Macciatto (SP?). That is always what I get when I go there. I am looking for any warm drinks that would be good. It does not have to be a Starbucks clone. I have figured out how to make the Eggnog latte at home, and I make vanilla syrup tp add to coffee as well.

Add your photo If you've got an espresso/cappuccino machine you're well on your way to recreating a top-choice Starbucks coffee drink. For the caramel part, you can use any caramel sauce that you find in the grocery store near the ice cream toppings. Pick your favorite. Just note that to make this recipe work best you'll only need 3 tablespoons of a richer caramel sauce (like the stuff Starbucks uses), but more like 4 tablespoons of a lighter sauce (such as fat-free Smuckers). For the vanilla syrup you can use the bottled syrups, such as those made by Torani, or just whip up a your own clone from scratch. By the way, if you want to make this clone super accurate, pick up bottles of the authentic vanilla syrup and caramel sauce sold in Starbucks stores. — Apr 14, 2003

3. Remove from heat and cool.
