I personally like Rachel Ray--there I said it. I think she is amusing to watch on TV. But, have you tried her recipes and actually liked them? I have tried several. I followed the recipes to a "t", but YUCKO! I just think her recipes are a bit thrown together. The flavors mesh horribly as compared to recipes by Martha Stewart or even Giada. I don't even like Italian food and I think Giada's recipes mesh better. What do you think?

YES!!! I like her, and I like her food.... I don't follow her recipes... I follow the idea behind the meal.... I am not a recipe follower in general =-)

You know when she first came onto the scene I thought she was just so adorable. Now I think she is a big phoney boloney! :yep:

We used to call her dh's girlfriend because he thought she was so cute. Now neither one of us can watch her. I do like several of her recipes. I have two of her books though and I can't get myself to try any of them because they just don't sound good. If I catch a show and it looks good, I'll try it. That hasn't happened much lately.

I liked her at first, now I am more of a Semi-Homemade kind of girl.

I like her - she's a bit of a spaz though. Haven't tried any of her recipes but hearing her say EVOO grates on my last nerve. And then have her defeat the purpose of saving time by using an acroymn right after she says that she say, "extra virgin olive oil"

ARRRGH what's the point!

I just like her kitchen. I could cook like that if I had that kind of set up in my house. Everytime I go to the fridge to get something out, guaranteed it's been used for something else by someone else.

I'm just wondering why or what the purpose is of Rachael Ray overextending herself into so many different arenas. I mean, doesn't she make ENOUGH money. Is it greed with both the money and the celebrity status? If I had that much money I would stick to either Food Network or my talk Show. I would want to enjoy life, spending time with both my family and friends. KWIM?

She is always touching her hair while cooking. That drives me crazy...:crazyeye:

I liked a decorating segment on her show this week.

I hate the tongue flick thing and the constant butting in during a conversation with a guest. It kind of reminds me of myself, I am always trying to be heard. I have been working on that lately! LOL

I can't stand her. On her old shows on Food network, she wears such tight shirts all of the time. DH and DS like to watch her though.
