Judy's Taco Pie
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Judy was my maid of honor and typed up this recipe in 1972 for me. I made this many times during our first years of marriage. It is so faded I hope I can read it. This was in MI and no one knew about "real" Mexican food there. I thought I was an exotic cook. It is still good.
Taco Pie
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c water
1 c sour cream
1 package taco mix
2 c Fritos corn chips
1 package Cresent dinner rolls
1 package grated "motzerelli" cheese
Brown and drain the meat. Add water, sour cream. taco mix and Fritos. Mix until Fritos soften.
Spread dough over a pie pan to cover. Fill with the meat mixture and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Bake at 375 for 10-13 min or until dinner roll dough is done.
