Lookie what I got today!

I called my electrician this morning and I got my over the stove microwave installed today! Yea baby...and I love it there. I got my DH on a roll and Im not stoppin" till his wallet is empty. :roflmao2: J/K Now this weekend I'm getting a strip of decorative moulding to go over it. The contractors have been here for a few weeks now and tons of things are getting done here. The back porch upstairs is done and the upstairs bedroom is done. All the electric has been updated and changed over and tons of lights and switches have been installed. New roof and furnace, hot water tank. They have put in 2 new doors and have 3 more to go. The back porch windows are all changed and new and the bottom ones are almost framed in. The porch has also been painted and is almost done. Whew...talk about a lot of work! I need to go around and take some pics to share tomorrow. Lots more work to be done in the next few months and I can't wait! :clap:

You guys have no idea how much I hate that kitchen. The cuboards are awful, well, not all of them but some of them are just cheap made and falling apart inside and out. They have been there since 1975, time for some changes. We will get new counter tops and a new stainless sink. No more porcelain for me! :clap: Then the floor needs to be changed. I hate that yellowish crap!! :donno: Xmas is not really the time to be doing all this stuff though.

Yaay! :clap: I'd love one of the over the stove microwaves, but I'm so short, I'd be tilting the bowl every time I take it out. So be careful about that.. lol

And why not at Christmas time? You deserve just as much as anyone. :)

I did get a stove, but it's not new. You couldn't tell by looking at it though cause it was spotless!

Bit, I'm 5'9" so I can see up there pretty good. I was telling the guys that were installing it "It's a good thing we are all tall people around here." LOL

I love ours too, Terri. It was my Christmas gift last year. I didn't know we were the same height! ;-)

Kristen, yupper, pretty tall here. I have a sister who is 5'9", blonde hair/green eyes also and one that is about 5'5", the has dark hair and brown eyes. {She belongs to the mail man. } :yep: Oh, DH informed me when it was all installed that it was my xmas gift too...the stinker.
