View Full Version : Wrapping Paper...
What kind of paper do you wrap the presents in? I usually don't have a certain kind, so I asked DH to stop by the Dollar Tree the other day and pick some up. Later I was looking at it... Mickey, Minnie... Dora. DORA? I asked him "why did you buy Dora wrapping paper?" He said "who's Dora?" I told him and he said.. "nooo that's the little Hawaiian girl, Laylo".. LOL

I grabbed a bunch of rolls year before last at Target's 75% off and am still using them up. They are, for the most part, animals on red or green paper. I like paper, as opposed to foils, because it is harder to peek! LOL!!

This year it's snowmen for just the people living in this household. Candy canes for my son, DIL, parents, and older nieces and nephews. The young nieces get Pooh and Tigger.
I try to organize by wrapping paper so that I know at a glance which gifts stay at our house and which ones get shipped or taken to Michigan.

I still like pooh! why is all the younger kids get pooh! I still like pooh and strawberry short cake. lol sponge bob! =0) i guess i am a kid at heart!
I got a large roll at Sam's that will probably last a while. LOL!
It is 2-sided. Santa on one side and the other side is red and says "Merry Christmas" all over it. That is what I used for all of the presents that are under the tree now.
This year, I wrapped the presents from Santa. I got some different paper (from the Dollar Tree) so that the kids won't say "Mom, how come Santa has the same paper that you do?" LOL! I got a different one with Santa on it and also a red roll that says "Ho Ho Ho" all over it and a cartoon Santa left over from last year.
LOL! The trick is to keep them separate so that the kids don't see them and then trying to keep them straight.....

The thicker the better, lol. I usually buy mine at the kids fund raisers. But I can only use those for the fun gifts not the Santa gifts:yep:
I think he gets his at Costco.

I lalala love christmas paper!
I like to buy from every where.... but Costco is one of my favorite spots! I also buy paper that is just from santa every year and I normally look for that at hallmark...
But the past few years I have started to buy green and blue paper.... all Hunters presents are wrapped in some asortment of blue christmas paper and Nikos presents in some asortment of green christmas paper.... normally 3-5 rolls each of different paper...... because those are the boys favorite color.... and for Ms.MaKenna I buy oddles of anything totally colorful and bold and cute...... teeheehee.....
