Do you get family holiday pictures taken every year? If not when was the last time you did?
We're going to get ours taken this year but it's the first time we've done so with the girls. Our last family x-mas picture was with our son and that was in the mid 80's way before the girls were born. I have everyone's outfit but I'm waiting on DH's schedule so I can make the appointment.
Get the kids together every year. We haven't had a 'whole family' picture in about 4 years. We will probably do that within the next year.
I'm so glad I'm not alone in getting those pictures done. The last one we had taken, Kelly was 9 months old.. lol

I'd like to get a family pic done. This year I'm using my dogs pic that we had taken.

We haven't had a 'professional' family photo taken since I was pregnant with Skye. I would like to sometime.. We do have photos of all of us together. My mom usually takes one every Christmas for me.

I've always felt the same way. After Katrina, while going through my pictures, I realized that there are no pictures of me. I cherish the pictures of my grandparents who have passed away.
If something should happen to me, My kids won't have pictures of me and being so young, will they remember me? SO ~ I make sure that there are pictures of me with them and especially of me playing with them. I feel kinda vain asking someone else to take my picture. But, it's important.

I'm the same way Puddy. I love to be behind the camera but I look horrible in front of the camera. My eyes are always screwed up and I always discover another chin that I didn't know about. Despite the fact that I'm not photogenic I decided to get in front of the camera a little more often. That decision was made because I was looking at photo albums one day that spanned about 15 years worth of photos and I found maybe 4 pictures that I was in. That's kind of sad if you think about it. What will my kids and grandkids be left with if they can't see a picture of me when I'm long gone?
Next time the camera is out think about Drew and his children and get in front of the camera. When you're long gone he's going to love to tell stories about you and all the wonderful things you've done and people you've made laugh. He's going to need a photo of you to point to.

Oh Cardy, you are going to make me cry! I did that exact thing. I always used to say how bad I looked and I never wanted to get my pic taken and now when I look back at the ones I did take they aren't that bad, even though I always have my mouth open or my eyes closed! That's just me! :yep: I also was the only one to take home movies at Xmas time so everyone is in there but me. People were always mad at me for filming them and now they all cherish them because our kids were all small and that is all there is to see and remember.
