Salt dough

My girls are wanting to make salt dough to make ortaments!
I looked up some sites last night about salt dough and found some awesome sites. Here is one of them i liked!

We made ares sunday night oh so many! We painted most of them till we got tired of doing it then we finished yesterday. So lots of people are going to get salt dough orments for christmas this year from the girls lol!
There kinda heavy got to try to get them thin we got some ones that are to fat and i don't think they baked well still feel damp!
But there cute and we had lots of fun.

We wanted to make the cinnamon ornaments, but we don't have the glue. Oh, well, another time. Lord knows I have the cinnamon! I don't know why I bought the huge shaker bottle of the stuff. Sheesh, you never use that much. LOL

LMAO then you have never been around me. I bought my mom a huge bottle and I have to get another one.. I use it for everything that I can... Helps with controling diabetes.. I like using that better then insuling shots

Questions....this recipe is for the microwave.

Is there a difference in the ingredients to do these in the oven? And what temp do you "cook" them at?

250 in the oven! for 15 min or till done!

We have a teen night for our homeschool group each month. December is cookie & craft make & take night...guess what craft they're doing? :)

Cool salt dough its so fun to mix it up i used my hands lol Make shore to have extra flower to lay down on the wax paper lol i layed mine down and flatten with my hands and it stuck to the wax paper lol had to start over! But it's lots of fun!

OMG!! What a pain. I forgot how sticky this stuff was. I needed more than 4c of flour...LOL

Just don't have spencer grab one and dunk it in his coffee in the morning LOL high in salt intake lol!
