I have finally had a few moments to post some pics of our new house. I have way too many, so I created an album at Snapfish. If you do not already have an account there you need to register.

Ok, I'm in love with that house. It has tons of charm in there. You have lots of nice wood work like mine does and that adds to the cozyness of it. I LOVE your front entrance, those doors are beautiful and the outside of the house is as sweet as the outside. I really enjoyed looking at those pictures Trish, you have a beautiful home. :tyspin:

Nice house!!
I got a chuckle out of the penguins! The chandelier is very pretty. I iss having a pile of leaves to jump into. Been a longtime since I've done that.
Glad you are all moved in. :hugheart:

Puddy if you take a look, notice your afghan on the back of one of the couches. :yep:
One of my students is making some stained glass for me to put in the main entrance. It is going to go outside of the front door on both sides of it, in the long narrow spots. He bought the glass and I paid him back and then will pay him for making them for me.

It was built in 1915. It has many of the original lights and faucets. We have all of the original floor plans. The owners 2 before us found them, her grandmother was one of the first people to live here. They are framed and hanging in the dining area. We found the basement plans last week, stuffed behind a drawer.
The last owner had all of the floors redone  and had the kitchen remodeled. Where the kitchen table is used to be a porch. They also built the 2 car garage. We use the old one for storage, we jokingly call it the potting shed. The last owner is originally from England and that is what he called it.
Our former house was built in 1896 by the same guy. Isn't that wierd? After he got tired of that house he had this one built. So it is kind of creepy that we moved here also. They are just 4 blocks away. DH talked to the granddaughter of that first owner at one of our garage sales. She remembers being in both houses as a child.
We have 2 hidden spots in the house that were built to store valuables. We learn more everyday.
