Slow Cooker Apple-Cinnamon Pork Chops
2 T. nonfat chicken broth
6 pork loin chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling, divided
Spray a non stick skillet with cooking spray. Add broth to skillet
and
heat over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook over medium heat
until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet. Spray inside of
slow
cooker with cooking spray. Combine lemon juice, bouillon granules,
cinnamon and half the apple pie filling in slow cooker and mix well.
Place pork chops on top. Cover and cook on LOW 6-7 hours. Spoon
remaining apple pie filling into a bowl and heat in microwave on
HIGH until warm. Serve with pork chops. Makes 6 servings.
