I found this at www.meetmyattorney.com:
The adult children of a couple found their parents unresponsive and naked in bed. The children called EMS and the paramedics arrived on scene. After ruling out any major life threats, the medics were a little puzzled at how two people could end up in this situation. Both had extremely low blood pressure, but were in otherwise decent shape, considering.
The medics dug around the scene a little bit, doing a bit of detective work. What they found didn’t quite make sense. It was a tube of nitroglycerin paste. Nitro is prescribed for people who have a history of heart trouble. It comes in a spray form, like a little breath freshener, a pill form about half the size of an Altoids, and a paste. With the paste, a doctor will usually prescribe a given length, like an inch or two, as the dosage. When a patient feels chest pain, they take a little of their nitro to help dilate the blood vessels of the heart.
After reviving the couple, the paramedics inquired about the onset and events leading up to their collapse. The couple said they’d been having sex, but passed out during the act. One of the paramedics asked them if the lubrication they’d used happened to be on the nightstand. Well, yes, that’s where we put it. That tube was no KY. The KY was in the draw. The nitro paste was on the nightstand. :ohhh:
In their passion, this couple had mistakenly used a fairly strong blood vessel dilator. The nitro is easily absorbed through the skin, particularly skin flush with many blood vessels, like the sexual organs. As a result, their blood pressure plummeted and they passed out from shock.
